Mehran Spice & Food Industries, a renowned name in the FMCG sector, is seeking a qualified and proactive Assistant Manager – Purchase (Technical Procurement) to join its growing team in Karachi.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical procurement, vendor management, and supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness in sourcing materials and supplies.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for technical items, general supplies, and construction materials.
• Develop and sustain strong vendor relationships while negotiating competitive contracts.
• Prepare and review RFQs, purchase orders, and comparative analysis statements.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand and fulfill material specifications.
• Conduct market research to identify reliable suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
• Assist in budget planning, cost control, and procurement strategy execution for ongoing projects.
📌 Key Requirements:
✅ MBA in Supply Chain Management from a reputed institution (mandatory).
✅ 4–5 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
✅ Strong understanding of vendor sourcing and supplier relationship management.
✅ Hands-on experience with procurement and vendor management software.
✅ Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
