Our client, a prestigious financial services organization, is seeking a highly experienced Head of Accounting to lead its accounting and financial reporting functions in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in French GAAP, strong working knowledge of IFRS, and familiarity with UAE regulatory frameworks.
This is a strategic leadership position designed for a detail-oriented, analytical, and bilingual finance leader who can drive accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while supporting executive management with data-driven financial insights.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:

Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth and continuous improvement.

Ensure robust internal controls and adherence to compliance standards.

Drive operational excellence across financial processes.
Accounting & Financial Reporting:

Prepare and review financial statements under French GAAP and IFRS.

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes with precision.

Supervise intercompany reconciliations and consolidation activities.
-
Oversee compliance with UAE financial and regulatory frameworks.

Collaborate closely with auditors and senior management on key reporting deliverables.
📌 Requirements:
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
✅ Fluent in French and English (written & spoken).
✅ Proven experience in financial reporting, audit, and team leadership.
✅ Strong understanding of French GAAP, IFRS, and UAE accounting regulations.
✅ Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
✅ Prior experience in the financial services sector preferred.
