🧾 Position Overview
Belco Chocolates is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to support our Finance Manager in overseeing the company’s financial operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliation, and compliance to ensure smooth day-to-day accounting and financial management within a fast-growing FMCG environment.
💼 Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Reporting

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts.

Ensure timely posting and accuracy of all financial transactions.

Support budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
-
Manage daily invoices, vendor payments, and receivables.

Process supplier bills, reimbursements, and petty cash transactions.

Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.
3. Payroll & Employee Payments
-
Assist in payroll processing and salary disbursement.
-
Coordinate with HR for attendance, deductions, and benefit verification.

Maintain compliance with company and statutory payroll policies.
4. Internal Controls & Compliance
-
Ensure adherence to IFRS, accounting standards, and internal policies.

Prepare documentation for internal/external audits.
-
Maintain confidentiality and data integrity across all records.
5. Banking & Reconciliation
-
Handle bank transactions, deposits, and payment approvals.

Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations and financial records.
6. Coordination & Support

Support cash flow management and fund allocation planning.

Prepare analytical reports and assist in ERP implementation.
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (ACCA/CA Inter preferred).

3–5 years of professional experience in finance or accounting.

Solid understanding of ERP systems, financial reporting, and accounting principles.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

High integrity, accuracy, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
