A reputed construction contracting company in Dubai is currently recruiting a Junior Accountant / Accounts Assistant to support daily accounting operations. This role is suitable for candidates with UAE experience in the construction or contracting sector who are available to join immediately or on short notice.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents
- Assist in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Record daily financial transactions and expense entries
- Prepare bank reconciliations and ledger postings
- Support month-end closing activities
- Coordinate with project teams and senior accountants
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies
Requirements
- 1–3 years of UAE accounting experience
- Experience in construction or contracting companies preferred
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Immediate or short notice availability preferred
