Role Overview
A growing organization in Dubai, UAE is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to manage full-set accounts and financial operations independently. This role is ideal for professionals with strong accounting fundamentals, advanced Excel skills, and hands-on experience with accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-set accounts including AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Liaise with external auditors as required
- Assist with tax filings and compliance-related reporting
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure policy compliance
- Utilize Excel for manual accounting tasks and reporting
- Work with Zoho Books and Wafeq; adaptability to other accounting systems is a plus
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Diplomas not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
- UAE experience is not mandatory
- Strong Excel proficiency (mandatory requirement)
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (Zoho Books preferred)
- Ability to handle full-set accounts independently
- Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA) are an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and execution-focused mindset
