Job Overview
A reputable healthcare organization in Kuwait is hiring an experienced Chief Accountant. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills and proven experience handling financial operations within the healthcare sector. This role is suitable for professionals who can manage reporting, budgeting, cost control, compliance, and team coordination in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records
- Oversee financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Implement cost control procedures and improve financial efficiency
- Coordinate internal/external audits and ensure timely completion
- Handle VAT-related reporting and ensure compliance with regulations
- Ensure compliance with company policies, healthcare standards, and financial controls
- Lead and support the finance/accounts team with strong supervision and guidance
Key Requirements
- Currently based in Kuwait with transferable residency
- Proven experience as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant
- Healthcare sector experience is mandatory
- CMA certification is required (additional certifications are a strong advantage)
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, audits, VAT, and compliance
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
