Job Overview
A semi-government organization in Dubai is hiring an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to support AP operations, ensure strong internal controls, and manage vendor and stakeholder communication. This is a 6-month contract (extendable) role offering a competitive salary of AED 14,000 to 15,000 per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) processing
- Perform 3-way matching (PO, GRN, Invoice) and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain vendor records and coordinate vendor communications professionally
- Prepare and review AP reconciliations and supplier statement reconciliations
- Review AP aging and ensure timely payments and follow-ups
- Support month-end closing activities and related accounting entries
- Assist with audits and provide required supporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, controls, and UAE regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance
- Minimum 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Strong ERP knowledge (Oracle Fusion preferred)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of accounting controls and compliance
- CPA / CA / ACCA is an advantage

- Monthly Salary: AED 14,000 – 15,000
