A large-scale pharmaceutical company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Finance to manage daily financial operations, including marketing advances, expense verification, petty cash handling, and payment settlements. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in SAP, and a deep understanding of financial controls within a manufacturing setup.
📋 Key Responsibilities
Marketing Advances & Expense Management

Process marketing advances per company policy with complete documentation and approvals.

Follow up for advance settlements and ensure all clearances are properly supported.

Verify marketing expense claims for compliance with budgets and procedures.
Business & Operating Expenses
-
Review and process employee business expense claims (travel, lodging, entertainment).

Ensure all claims comply with internal reimbursement policies and are duly approved.

Coordinate with department heads for timely posting and reporting.
Petty Cash Management
-
Manage and monitor petty cash disbursements per policy.

Maintain documentation, reconciliations, and replenishment schedules.

Enforce strict cash control and reporting standards.
Utilities & Reimbursements

Process payments for mobile, fuel, and other staff reimbursements.

Verify consumption reports and handle exceptions in coordination with HR.

Maintain schedules for recurring payments ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Treasury & Cash Flow Support

Assist with daily cash flow management and ensure fund availability.

Prepare and review bank reconciliations regularly.

Support banking operations and liaise with financial institutions as needed.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Education: MBA (Finance), M.Com, or equivalent degree from a reputable institution.

Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance operations (preferably in manufacturing or pharmaceuticals).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in SAP (mandatory).

Strong MS Excel and reconciliation skills.
