The organization is seeking a skilled Accountant to manage financial processes, ensure compliance, and strengthen the company’s operational efficiency.
📊 Key Responsibilities
Operational Accounting

Process invoices, credit notes, and supplier balance confirmations.

Manage inventory accounting — including receipts, write-offs, and reconciliations.

Oversee orders, shipments, logistics, and costing processes.

Monitor accounts receivable/payable and maintain proper documentation.

Act as treasury back-up when required.
Management Accounting & Compliance

Record loan fees, interest, and related transactions.

Ensure compliance with UAE tax and financial regulations.

Handle VAT (5%) reporting via the FTA portal, including returns and designated zones (DAFZA/IFZA) documentation.

Prepare and reconcile corporate tax (9%) calculations.
Reporting & Internal Control

Maintain accurate ERP records and general ledger updates.

Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports (by company, channel, and SKU).

Conduct deal-level margin analysis to support management decisions.
🎓 Requirements
✅ 3–7 years of accounting or financial controlling experience (trading background preferred).
✅ Hands-on UAE experience with VAT, customs, and designated zones.
✅ Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP).
✅ Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or 1C UAE).
✅ Strong understanding of IFRS, landed cost, and multi-currency operations.
✅ Excellent command of English (Upper-Intermediate or higher).
