We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper with hands-on experience in QuickBooks, Xero, and TaxCycle. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of Canadian taxation, particularly T1 personal tax returns, and be able to manage routine bookkeeping and income-tax filing tasks efficiently.
This role offers the opportunity to work independently, remotely, and directly with Canadian clients in a professional, process-driven environment.
🔹 Key Responsibilities

Perform daily bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online and Xero

Handle bank and credit-card reconciliations

Manage expense classification, postings, AP/AR tracking, and month-end closing

Use TaxCycle for T1 income-tax preparation and filing

Maintain accurate, organized financial records and flag discrepancies promptly

Follow established workflows and internal checklists

Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting and taxation practices
📘 Required Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, and TaxCycle

Strong knowledge of Canadian personal tax (T1) filings
