📍 Position Details
Role: GL Accountant
Location: Dubai, UAE
Contract Duration: 6–12 months (extendable)
Experience: 3–5 years in GL accounting
Industry: Financial Services / DIFC
✅ Key Responsibilities

Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and journal entries
-
Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial controls
-
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
-
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
-
Collaborate with auditors and cross-functional finance teams
-
Assist in process improvements and system integrations
🎓 Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/ACCA is an advantage)

3–5 years of proven experience in GL Accounting

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
-
Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles
-
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
