We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant with strong expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, and ERP-based accounting operations. Candidates with experience in marine, ship repair, or engineering industries will be given preference.
🔎 Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports

Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing, GL reconciliations & fixed assets

Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, VAT, Corporate Tax & UAE regulatory frameworks

Liaise with external auditors and implement audit recommendations

Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control activities

Conduct project-wise profitability analysis, WIP review & inventory evaluation

Prepare sales, profit & cash flow forecasts and analyze key financial drivers

Assist with Capex evaluation, payback analysis, and financial feasibility studies

Contribute to ERP implementation, process optimization & internal control enhancements

Maintain accurate records, data confidentiality & support intercompany reconciliations
🧩 Requirements:
✔ Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
✔ Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting & GL management
✔ Experience in AP, AR, payroll, budgeting & variance analysis
✔ Solid understanding of VAT & Corporate Tax compliance (UAE)
✔ Hands-on experience with ERP systems
✔ Advanced MS Excel skills (mandatory)
✔ Inter CA required; CPA / CMA / ACCA is an added advantage
✔ Experience in marine / ship repair / engineering industry preferred
💰 Compensation:
Salary: AED 10,000 – 12,000 + Benefits as per UAE Labour Law
