About the Role

A reputable organization in Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Accountant to manage daily finance functions and ensure compliance with Saudi accounting regulations and ZATCA standards. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical abilities, hands-on accounting experience, and proficiency in managing multi-industry financial operations.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Tendering & Costing Support

Review tender documents, BOQs, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Perform material take-offs for civil, MEP, and architectural items.
Prepare pricing sheets, commercial proposals, and cost breakdowns.
Coordinate with suppliers & subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
Analyze project risks, cost impacts, and provide value engineering recommendations.
Prepare technical and commercial submissions for tenders and RFQs.
Assist project and sales teams with pricing clarifications and adjustments.
Maintain updated pricing databases and market rate sheets.

Core Accounting Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and banking activities.
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
Monitor receipts, payments, supplier invoices, POs, and expense claims.
Execute month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare and submit VAT, Zakat, WHT reports as per ZATCA compliance.
Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and internal departments.
Maintain accurate financial records, documentation, and audit-ready files.
