A leading logistics company operating in the UAE and across Africa is currently hiring an experienced Accountant for their office located in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai. This role is ideal for finance professionals with strong accounting, ERP, and financial reporting experience.

Job Overview
- Position: Accountant
- Industry: Logistics / Distribution
- Location: Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), Dubai
- Salary: AED 7,000 (All Inclusive)
- Candidate Requirement: Must currently be in the UAE
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger
- Perform bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany reconciliations
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including Balance Sheet and Income Statement
- Prepare cost sheets and support SKU pricing decisions
- Monitor cash flow and support working capital planning
- Coordinate annual audits with external auditors
- Ensure compliance with UAE and Africa tax regulations including VAT and Corporate Tax
- Oversee stock reconciliation and inventory audits
- Coordinate payroll with HR and compliance teams
- Support ERP implementation and accounting controls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, or Cost Accountant preferred
- Minimum 4 years of accounting or finance experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation
- Experience with ERP systems such as Tally, Retail Pro, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
