Eire Gulf Interiors, a leading Interior Design & Fit-Out company in the UAE, is looking for a skilled General Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations across two entities. This role requires strong hands-on experience in accounting, VAT, reconciliations, and compliance with UAE regulations.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
Manage petty cash transactions (Cash on Hand & Qashio), including reconciliations and monthly reporting
Handle Accounts Payable, including supplier invoices, subcontractor payments, and employee expense claims
Coordinate with the Commercial Team and vendors to verify invoices against POs, delivery notes, and contracts
Prepare payment schedules and ensure timely settlements
Maintain supplier ledgers, resolve payment discrepancies, and submit AP vs Balance Sheet reconciliations at month-end
Support monthly closing activities and prepare relevant supporting schedules
Prepare quarterly VAT summaries and submit to the Accounts Manager for VAT filing
Maintain and reconcile intercompany balances between EG UAE and EG KSA
Ensure proper filing, documentation, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience in general accounting operations in the UAE
Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations
Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable & reconciliations
Ability to manage multiple entities
High attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines
Strong communication and coordination skills
