💰 Salary Package: AED 18,000/month + Standard Benefits
🕒 Notice Period: 1 Month
🎯 About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will lead the accounting team, oversee receivables and collections, ensure IFRS compliance, manage financial reporting cycles, and collaborate closely with Legal and Commercial divisions within a fast-paced media environment.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
✔ Lead and supervise a team of accountants & collection officers
✔ Oversee Accounts Receivable & collection operations
✔ Manage monthly financial closing and ensure timely reporting
✔ Support internal & external audits during annual audit cycle
✔ Ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE financial regulations
✔ Review contracts with Legal & Commercial teams to ensure financial accuracy
✔ Ensure correct application of UAE VAT across all transactions
✔ Perform advanced financial analysis using Excel & Oracle Fusion
✔ Improve accounting workflows & cross-team coordination
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
✔ CA / ACCA (Big 4 experience preferred)
✔ Minimum 5 years UAE experience in the media industry
✔ Strong knowledge of IFRS 3, IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16
✔ Expertise in Oracle Fusion (AR & Collection modules)
✔ Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, analytics)
✔ Strong leadership & team management capability
✔ Ability to collaborate effectively with Legal, Commercial & Operations teams
✔ In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT laws
