About the Role:
A renowned tyre manufacturing company in Bangladesh is looking for a highly qualified and results-driven General Manager – Accounts & Finance to oversee the organization’s financial management, strategic planning, and risk control operations.
This role requires a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the manufacturing industry — preferably from sectors such as Steel, Paint, Pipe, Tyre, Chemical, or Plastics — with strong command over factory accounting, treasury operations, and financial compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the company’s entire finance and risk control operations.

Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and internal control systems.

Review financial statements and present strategic insights to the leadership team.

Oversee costing, budgeting, fund management, investment analysis, and treasury functions.

Supervise factory accounts, production costing, and performance metrics.

Ensure compliance with Income Tax, VAT, and other statutory requirements.

Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital effectively.

Liaise with banks and financial institutions for LC, loans, and trade financing.

Oversee export/import documentation, LC management, and subsidy claims.

Prepare and analyze P&L statements, MIS reports, and financial dashboards.

Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT Act, Companies Act, and Bangladesh Bank regulations.

Build and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and financial partners.
Educational & Professional Requirements:
🎓 Qualification: MBA in Finance/Accounts from a reputed university
📜 Certification: ACA / ACCA / CA (Mandatory)
💼 Experience: 18–20 years of progressive experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably within manufacturing sectors.
Preferred Expertise:

Factory Accounting, Treasury Management, and Taxation

International Trade Finance (LC, LTR, UPAS LC, CC, Term Loans)

Strong understanding of Bangladesh financial laws & compliance frameworks

Proven leadership experience at GM/DGM/CFO level
