🧾 Job Summary
United Gulf is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our Oman branch.
The ideal candidate will manage all accounting functions, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with the Head Office and auditors for financial reporting and finalization.
📌 Key Responsibilities

Manage the full spectrum of branch accounting: receivables, payables, fixed assets, inter-unit reconciliations, and reporting.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

Monitor cash flow, ensure accurate bank reconciliation and cash handling.

Handle trade-related banking tasks including Letters of Credit (LCs) and guarantees.

Coordinate with Head Office and Branch Manager for seamless financial operations.

Liaise with auditors to finalize branch financials and file tax returns as per Oman regulations.

Utilize Microsoft Dynamics GP for financial management and analysis.

Support financial reporting and insights for senior management.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Education: Master’s / CPA / CMA

Experience: Minimum 5–6 years of relevant accounting experience in Oman.

Must be currently based in Oman.

Strong knowledge of Oman’s tax laws and financial compliance.

Proven expertise in end-to-end accounting and reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred.
-
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
