💼 Position Details

Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Type: Full-time
Nationality: Indian
Availability: Immediate Joiners Preferred

📊 Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle including journal entries, ledgers, trial balances, and reconciliations

• Handle lease contracts, revenue schedules, and payment tracking

• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards for lease accounting

• Maintain complete books of accounts in Zoho Books (receivables, payables, fixed assets, lease schedules)

• Prepare monthly/annual financial statements and management reports

• Conduct financial analysis to support leasing and asset management decisions

• Prepare and file UAE VAT and corporate tax returns in line with FTA regulations

• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities

• Develop and automate Excel-based financial dashboards and reports

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

• Implement internal financial controls and process improvements

• Supervise and train junior accounting staff

🎓 Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, or CA Intermediate preferred)

• Minimum 5 years of experience, including 2 years in leasing or financial sector

• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas)

• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax

• Familiar with IFRS accounting standards

• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently under deadlines

• Competitive salary range: AED 6,000 – AED 10,000 per month
