A leading organization in Kuwait is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its growing finance team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with strong experience in banking, fashion, garments, or apparel industries who specialize in industrial costing, cost control, and stock management.
📌 Position: Senior Accountant
📍 Location: Kuwait (must be currently based in Kuwait)
🌍 Nationality: Indian or Pakistani (preferred)
💰 Employment Type: Full-time
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, payables, receivables, and month-end closing.
✅ Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses to ensure transparency and informed business decisions.
✅ Develop, implement, and monitor cost accounting systems to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
✅ Manage inventory accounting, stock valuation, and cost variation analysis across multiple product lines.
✅ Conduct profit margin and cost optimization analyses to support pricing and strategic decisions.
✅ Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support strategic planning.
✅ Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and banking standards.
✅ Collaborate with operations, sales, and procurement teams to improve inventory accuracy and financial reporting.
✅ Utilize ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel for data management and analysis.
🎓 Required Qualifications:
🎯 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or CPA / CA / CMA preferred).
🎯 Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with exposure in banking and apparel/fashion industries.
🎯 Strong expertise in industrial costing, cost control, and inventory management.
🎯 Proficiency in ERP software and advanced Excel functions.
🎯 Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
🎯 Proven track record in supporting senior management through data-driven insights.
