A reputed semi-government organization in Qatar is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
♦ Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
♦ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
♦ Maintain and monitor fixed assets and handle closing entries.
♦ Analyze budget variances and assist in financial planning.
♦ Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and company policies.
♦ Process payroll as per WPS (Wage Protection System) standards.
♦ Coordinate with auditors, banks, and vendors for timely operations.
♦ Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
Requirements:
♦ Must be born in Qatar (Qatari nationals preferred).
♦ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (mandatory).
♦ 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
♦ CMA / CPA certification is an advantage.
♦ Strong understanding of IFRS, auditing, and internal controls.
♦ Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or Odoo).
♦ Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
♦ Must be currently based in Qatar with a transferable visa/NOC.
